I’ve recently worked with Hannah on a complex project that required a lot of communication not only with the client but amongst our team - throughout the process Hannah was AMAZING to work with. She maintained a positive, uplifting, funny and conscientious attitude that helped the project stay on track.

She’s really great client facing – excellent ideas and can think of them quite quickly off the cuff and in line with what the client wants/needs and (budget!)

Hannah has a real knack for understanding the brief and tone and language regardless of the client.

I think Hannah works really well in a team and she brings out the best in people.

The quality of the work she delivered was exceptional – dealing with very technical, dull source content from Lloyds Bank and turning it into something genuinely interesting. Not an easy thing to do and she made it look effortless. Keep that up!

Hannah has got a real eye for detail, working with her on Capgemini was brilliant – Julia had massive amounts of trust in Hannah’s work and her dedication and passion shone throughout what was a tough project – multiple stakeholders, a lot of feedback and many conflicting ideas.

Kind, respectful, great work ethic.

Her smiley happy personality is a god send on the harder projects and I know the team really value her input and encouragement, as well as her ideas from a creative perspective – not just from copy side– she’s got a good eye for art direction too!

Hannah is a confident and articulate speaker that engages her audience.

Always a positive attitude and always looking to add value, Hannah consistently goes above and beyond to create great work. Her concepting and copywriting skills offer just the right blend of off-the-wall ideas and smart, considered work that nails the brief. Because she has experience in several agency roles, she gets multiple facets of the business and can easily navigate tricky client relationships. Plus, she’s an awesome human who helps create a strong, positive work culture. If you’re looking to add up and coming talent to your creative department, Hannah should be at the top of your list.

References are normally full of clichés. The problem I find writing this reference for Hannah is, there is nothing about her that is clichéd in any sense. Sure she is hard-working, dedicated, humble, collaborative, with the ability to take direction and meet the requirements of any client brief. But there is also an x-factor with Hannah that when tapped into, delivers superior creative thinking.

Hannah started off her career in Account Service and worked her way into a creative role. It’s not an easy pathway, wearing multiple hats at once and having to switch between them is challenging. However coming from this background meant she was already armed with skills that can take some creatives years to hone. Her client facing presentation skills are top notch, her understanding of the production process is second-to-none and her strategic understanding of client problems far outweighs her years in the industry.

During Hannah’s time at BCM she was also accepted into AWARD School, an exclusive course dedicated to training young Australian advertising creatives. While completing this course she worked outside business hours to work on real creative department briefs and put real work in her book. The tragedy for me is, upon graduating, she landed a copywriting gig at a competitor agency, where she continued to flourish as a creative.

What makes Hannah different as a creative is she tackles briefs from a completely different approach to most. I’m not sure where Hannah’s brain goes during the concepting process, but it’s a place that most rejection-wearied senior creatives can only dream of visiting. She has no fear. She brings to every brief an unbridled sense of curiosity and endless creative possibility. And most importantly she brings passion along with her ideas.

As someone who has worked in the UK, I understand that employers in your market appreciate the strong work ethic and passion Australian ex-pats deliver. With Hannah you get that and then some. If you don’t hire her, that is totally fine. It just means she will come back to Australia sooner and I will get to steal her back for my creative department.
